Owners Adam Hannula and Damir Hokman opened ServiceMaster Restoration by Elite in June 2015. They started the franchise as owner/operators after working for the largest ServiceMaster franchise in San Diego CA. They opened the franchise as the only two employees, handling all the mitigation, estimating, administrative, sales and marketing themselves. By March 2016 they hired their first project manager to handle their ever-growing workload as their reputation spread through the insurance world for their high level of customer service, attention to detail and quality work. While their reputation began to circulate through the insurance community, they also began to get work through word of mouth referrals and strong yelp reviews. By the summer of 2016 they hired another full time project manager, 3 technicians and leased a new office and warehouse as the company continued to grow. Currently, ServiceMaster Restoration by Elite has 9 full time employees, is the 3rd ranked ServiceMaster in California, and 22nd ranked in all of North America.
ServiceMaster restoration by elite is currently on the preferred vendor list for every major insurance company in California. We work with Farmers Insurance, Allstate Insurance, State Farm, The Hartford Company, Mercury Insurance and many more. We also work with customer’s residential and commercial properties outside of insurance. On these “self-pay” projects, we work directly with our customer to meet their specific needs and budgets to ensure the property is safely mitigated and ready for reconstruction.
Damir Hokman – Owner/ Operations manager – Before becoming the owner of his own ServiceMaster, Damir was a project manager for ServiceMaster San Diego for 6 years. He was the most successful project manager for the largest ServiceMaster in southern California routinely managing 30 projects at a time. He has extensive experience in water mitigation and mold abatement, and oversees all our water mitigation and mold abatement projects. Damir has maintained an IICRC certification in water, fire damage and lead removal since 2011. Damir is also responsible for training all our new technicians in the principles and practices of mitigation and demolition and has created a custom curriculum to meet our high expectations of workmanship and customer service.
Adam Hannula – Owner/ Operations manager – Adam became familiar with mitigation and its importance as a Property Claims Adjuster for Farmers Insurance from 2010 to 2013. In 2013, Adam began working with ServiceMaster San Diego as a project manager and then a marketing specialist. Adam specializes in fire mitigation, working closely with our project managers in creating scopes of work and estimates ranging from $5,000 to $100,000 in total damages. Adam also oversees all our projects with insurance companies. Because of his experience as a property claims adjuster, he is able to ensure a positive flow of information between our customers and their insurance company that helps facilitate and expedite the mitigation process. Adam has maintained his IICRC in water and fire certification since 2014.
